The Asus K50IJ-RX05 is an entry-level laptop that is priced at about $420. At that low price, there are some who might think that this laptop would not be up to the standards expected of entry-level units. In this review, we will examine if those apprehensions have any merit.
The Asus K50IJ-RX05 is equipped with the Intel Pentium Dual-Core T4200, which is actually one of its older processors. Despite that, it can still perform comparably with the processors of the other entry-level units. The Asus K50IJ-RX05 has 3 GB of read access memory backup and this ensures that applications don’t encounter delays. The laptop also has an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500 graphic chipset. The Asus K50IJ-RX05 is then able to outperform other laptops in its price range.

The traditional laptop manufactures better watch out. ASUS has taken over the Netbook market with their slim, sleek, ever-lasting line of Netbooks and now they are gunning for control of the laptop market with the ASUS UL30A-X5 which has just been released. It has one characteristic which sets it apart from all of the other laptops available.
Last week I had to take a flight from California to New York. On this flight, which I do far too often, I like to get some work done, watch a movie or two, and maybe play some games on my laptop. This flight takes approximately 5 hours.
